If you activate your 32-bit Vista, then try to activate your 64-bit Vista with the same key (or vice versa), you will get an error that the activation key is already in use. Also, I would strongly recommend using a virtual machine tool, such as Virtual PC or VMWare, instead of dual booting. Virtual PC is a free

Have you approached the vendors involved to see if they have a Vista-compatible version? I don't think Virtual PC runs in 64-bit mode anyhow, and may not even run on a 64-bit Vista. Windows Vista using XP with Virtual PC 2007
I have Vista installed in a dual boot environment on my machine at the moment. I am doing development in VS2005, with Office 2003, and testing the work on Vista with Office 2007. I'm tired of having to reboot back and forth, and so I thought I'd try Virtual PC 2007, and put Vista on the VM.
